I hate that I haven’t posted much, but I’ve been so busy with school work. Also, we’ve been trying to pack because we are hoping to move in the next month or so. We don’t know where yet, we’re waiting on a job to pop up and say ‘hey come work for us.’ We are so hopeful that one happens soon.
I also haven’t watched any actual television for the past 2-3 weeks, because we’ve been re-watching Fairy Tale and One Piece. We got the DVDs for Christmas, and so we’ve been popping in those DVDs and playing them through. It’s been fun.
Anyway, I wanted to do a quick favorites post because why not, they’re fun!
I have wanted to make this for a long while. Bruschetta is one of my most favorite things, and this is almost the same so I knew it would be good. Would I do this again? Yea, but I’d probably try them as bites or with Roma Tomatoes. Either way it’s good, because food.
If you saw my last post, you know that I didn’t have a normal Thanksgiving with turkey and everything. I had to look around for things to make, and I made the most delicious, yummy thing I have always wanted to try. It was so good, and I will make it again for sure!
HAPPY TURKEY DAY!
If you’re like me, you’re probably at home doing nothing far away from your family. Sadly, one of the things about moving to Wyoming meant that my boyfriend and I would be far away from any relatives, and in such a remote location that there is no airport. And of course neither of us is going to make a giant feast for the two of us, plus I’m not eating meat so that would be fun.
Anyway, after watching the parade and dog show I will probably start looking at ideas for things to make for today. Right now though I did make something with my Chia Seeds, and it’s the best thing ever; Strawberry Banana Smoothie! Woot!
You may know chia from the chia pets, but I found out that you can also buy the seeds to put in your food. It’s been a year or two since I’ve made food with them, but now that I am trying to do a raw/vegan diet I figured this was a good time to do it again.
There are plenty of recipes to do, so I hope to start soon!
